Whether you have a new Jeep® Wrangler or an older model, there are always things you can do to enhance it. One popular option is investing in a lift kit.

Lift kits can improve your off-road capability and make your vehicle more durable. Once you’ve decided to get a lift kit, you need to think about which type you want to go with. Luckily, you have several options to pick from at Jake Sweeney Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM.

Body Lift

The simplest type of lift is the body lift, where parts are fitted between the cab and the frame. This could involve such materials as polyurethane bushings or hard rubber. Once completed, a body lift will give you larger tire clearance, so you can invest in bigger tires.

Spacer Lift

With a spacer lift, you can put polyurethane coil spacers on the coil springs in your Jeep Wrangler. Some of these kits may also come with brake line brackets and shock extensions, which will allow you to put bigger tires on your Jeep.

Coil Spring Lift

A coil spring lift involves taking the current coil springs out of your vehicle and replacing them with longer ones. In addition to lifting the suspension to put on bigger tires, this can give you a smoother ride and improve your Jeep Wrangler’s off-road ability.

Many coil spring lift kits include things like longer shocks, track bars, and brake line extensions as well.
