Have you heard of the RAM power wagon? Those of you who are true RAM fans have heard of it and are familiar with what this vehicle contains. For those of you who haven’t heard of the infamous RAM power wagon don’t you fret. We’ll tell you everything you need to know, just keep reading.
The 2014 RAM Power Wagon has a 6.4-liter Hemi V8 engine powering this engine. The transmission that comes along with this engine is a six-speed transmission that helps produce a mind-blowing 410 horsepower and 429 lb-ft of torque! But power can be attributed to more than just the engine. RAM also increased the size of the American Axle-built rear axle to 11.5 with 4.10 gearing. Each axle has an electronically locking differential. So this vehicle is ready for some off-roading to say the least.
One way that the RAM Power Wagon offers a smooth ride on those bumpy off-road trails is through fitting three-link front and five-link coil rear suspension. All four corners will be equipped with shocks as well.
Towing capacity for this vehicle is amazing as well. A class five trailer hitch has been fitted to the 2014 RAM Power Wagon allowing it to haul more than 10,810 pounds. We’ll say what we know you’re thinking – WOW!
