Last week we talked about the Chrysler growth plan. So it should come as no surprise that this week we have information about the Dodge five year growth plan.
2016 kicks off the five year plan with a complete refresh of the Dodge Dart which will finally get the SRT treatment! Under the hood of this vehicle you will find a powerful turbocharged engine and it will use an all-wheel-drive powertain. Also, in 2016 Dodge fanatics will see an all-new Dodge Journey, but you’ll have to wait until 2017 to see this vehicle get the SRT treatment. 2017 will also bring you a refreshed Dodge Durango.
2018 is the big climax for the growth plan and Dodge isn’t holding anything back. There will be two new vehicles – a new sedan and hatchback, the Dodge Challenger will be all new and the Dodge Charger will be all new as well. Both these vehicles will receive the SRT treatment at the end of the 2018 calendar year.
If you’re wondering why there are so many mentions of the SRT brand, you’ll be happy to know that the SRT brand is becoming a part of the Dodge family. You will likely be hearing more and more about the SRT and Dodge relationship soon.
