The SRT Brand is part of the Chrysler Group that stands for Street and Racing Technology. In early February at the 2014 Chicago Auto Show, SRT revealed the Satin Vapor Editions of the 2014 Dodge Challenger, 2014 Dodge Charger and the 2014 Chrysler 300. Let’s check out what this means for these vehicles.
You will be able to spot a Satin Vapor edition right away due to their unique exterior styling. All three vehicles receive 20-inch aluminum wheels finished in Black Satin Vapor Chrome and are accented with Satin Black. The 2014 Dodge Challenger has it on the mirrors and the fuel door; the 2014 Dodge Charger has it on the roof, hood and Super Bee tail graphic; and the 2014 Chrysler 300 has it on the mirrors, spoiler and roof.
It wouldn’t be street and racing technology with just a few aesthetic changes, it has to go deeper into the engines. All three vehicles are powered by a 6.4-liter HEMI V-8 delivering 470 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque. This engine also comes with a valve exhaust system that helps the Fuel Saver Technology engage over a wide rpm range.
These vehicles are set to arrive on lots during the spring/summer of this year.
