The Dodge Viper was introduced in 1999 and has been touted as “the ultimate street-legal track car” and it definitely hopes to live up to this name. 2016 brings updates to the design to make it more aerodynamic, as well as suspension upgrades, Kuhmo high-performance tires and Bremo Carbon Ceramic Matrix brakes with six-piston front calipers.
Another element that the Dodge Viper is known for is that each vehicle is truly one of a kind. For the 2015 model year Dodge has added a matte-finish paint for all exterior colors and stripes as well as 11 additional production colors like Stryker Purple and Gunmetal Pearl. There are over 50 million unique configurations available with more than 16,000 paint colors and more than 48,000 unique stripe combinations. Powering the Dodge Viper is the 8.4-liter mid-front V10 overhead-valve engine. This engine produces 645 horsepower and 600 lb-ft of torque.
