You never know when the next best thing is on its way. Yesterday it was announced that Dodge automakers would introduce the new 2014 Dodge Journey trim. It’s the SE V6 All-Wheel-Drive (AWD). This is a very exciting announcement. Keep reading to find out more information about what you can expect from the 2014 Dodge Journey SE V6 AWD.
As alluded to in the name, the 2014 Dodge Journey SE V6 AWD will offer the Pentastar 3.6-liter V6 engine and all-wheel-drive. This V6 engine will produce a best-in-class 283 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. This comes with a six-speed automatic transmission and this combination can achieve up to 24 miles per gallon on the highway; a perfect range for a mid-size crossover. All-wheel-drive provides the extra traction you need on slick roads. It’s an “on-demand” system, meaning the vehicle only drives with the front wheels until power to the rear wheels is needed. Along with the addition of the V6 engine and all-wheel-drive, standard features will include power heated mirrors, Electronic Stability Control, Keyless Enter ‘n Go with push button start, keyless entry, cruise control, seven airbags, 4.3-inch touchscreen Uconnect Media Center and LED tail lamps – just to name a few.
