Just last week Chrysler automakers kicked off production of the Chrysler 200 at their Sterling Heights, MI factory. With this production kick off, they also celebrated more than 800 new jobs and plans to increase the plants footprint by two million square feet. The 2014 Chrysler 200 is available in sedan or convertible body type. Along with this choice you also can choose from three different trims for each body style. The sedan comes in the LX, the Touring, and the Limited trims. The convertible comes in the Touring, the Limited and the S trim levels. And the choices don’t stop there! There are two engines available on the 2014 Chrysler 200. The first is a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 173 horsepower and 166 lb-ft of torque. This engine receives an EPA estimated fuel economy of 20 miles per gallon in the city, 31 miles per gallon on the highway and 23 miles per gallon combined. The other is a 3.6-liter V6 engine pushing out 283 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. This engine receives an EPA estimated fuel economy of 19 miles per gallon in the city, 29 miles per gallon on the highway and 22 miles per gallon combined. As far as transmission goes, there is a six-speed automatic transmission available.
