So there’s been a lot of talk about the 2015 Chrysler 200 and all of the changes that will come with it. Chrysler automakers have decided to revamp this vehicle and make it not only dependable and classy, but sportier too. The Chrysler 200 has always been known for its premiere amenities and smooth driving, but now there’s so much more to the engine than that. Let’s check it out.

The most recent announcement was about the EPA estimated fuel economy for the 2015 Chrysler 200 which will be 18 miles per gallon in the city, 29 miles per gallon on the highway for the all-wheel-drive V6. Other powertrains like the 2.4-liter Tigershark MultiAir I-4 engine will receive 23 miles per gallon in the city, 36 miles per gallon on the highway and 28 miles per gallon combined. This engine produces 184 horsepower and 173 lb-ft of torque. The Pentastar V6 engine can get 19 miles per gallon in the city and 32 miles per gallon on the highway. This engine kicks out a best in class 295 horsepower and 262 lb-ft of torque.

Chrysler automakers are attributing these awesome numbers to the standard nine-speed automatic transmission, which is an industry first for a mid-size sedan, and the electronic shifting with the rotary dial.
