The time has come – Dodge has officially revealed the 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat! The Dodge Challenger already is known for the power it provides. So it shouldn’t come as a surprise that this is the vehicle Dodge chooses to give the SRT Hellcat transformation. What does this mean for the engine and the rest of the vehicle? Let’s check it out.
The 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat will come with a 6.2-liter Hemi V8 and will produce over 600 horsepower. This engine is the most powerful eight-cylinder engine Dodge has ever built. This engine will be combined with a six-speed manual transmission or an eight-speed automatic transmission.
There will be three pre-programmed modes on the 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat – Default, Sport and Track. But there will also be a custom mode that you can mix and match all options to find the right one for you.
There will be unique exterior re-styling like a hood scoop that will be combined with air extractors and a vertical split grille. When it comes to wheels and tires the 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat will come with 20-inch alloy wheels with an eight-spoke design.
Production of this vehicle will start during the third quarter of 2014 in Ontario. So stay tuned for more information as we receive it.
