The Jeep® brand kicked off November with some exciting news. On Tuesday, November 1st at the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show Awards Breakfast, the Jeep Wrangler was honored for the seventh year in a row as the Hottest 4×4 SUV! This is no surprise to us since this vehicle is the most Mopar-modified vehicle. So, if you don’t know anything about the Jeep Wrangler, now is the time to get yourself up to speed. Keep reading for more information.
The SEMA Awards started in 2010 and every year since has honored the Jeep Wrangler. Owners of this vehicle almost always customize their vehicle with at least one Mopar accessory or part. Last year owners spent an average of $700 on these customizations, and this year, that average amount increased to $800! This is a trend that has grown over the years. Mopar and the Jeep brand have worked together to establish 11 Mopar custom shops to get the personalizations done and out to their owners quicker.
“The SEMA Show and SEMA members play a critical role in identifying the hottest trends and rides in the vehicle customization industry, which is why winning a SEMA Award represents an important recognition for our company,” said Pietro Gorlier, Head of Parts and Service (Mopar), FCA – Global. “Enthusiasts customize vehicles they love and feel passionate about it, and we at Mopar are lucky to have such a great portfolio of vehicles within the FCA umbrella. FCA vehicles are the perfect canvas for our accessories and performance parts.”
