At the beginning of this month the 2014 Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) trade show was hosted in Las Vegas. Every year the trade show doles out a variety of awards to top automakers. Jeep® vehicles walked away with one of those accolades. Keep reading for more information about the award and what it takes to win an award like this.
This year marks the fifth consecutive year that the Jeep Wrangler has been named the “Hottest 4×4 SUV”. All vehicles on the floor are surveyed and the award is given to the models that specialty equipment manufactures think are best to show off accessories and cool new products. Many investors base their decisions on this award, so it is a huge deal to win, year after year. A few years back Mopar and Jeep combined forces to create the Jeep Performance Parts Portfolio. The Jeep Wrangler already has more than 300 available accessories and Mopar plans on adding even more!

The award was presented to Pietro Gorlier, the President and CEO of Mopar Service, Parts & Customer Care by the President and CEO of SEMA, Chris Kersting.
