Pretty much everybody knows that the Jeep® Cherokee has great power and outstanding off-road ability. But, it is also built to help keep occupants safe. This is due to its many standard safety features, which include:
Blind Spot Monitoring
When you drive in a crowded city like Cincinnati, changing lanes can be nerve-wracking. With blind spot monitoring, you’ll always know if there are cars around you and whether or not you’ll be able to safely change lanes.
Lane Departure Warning
Inadvertently drifting out of your lane can be easy – just taking your eyes off the road for a couple of seconds can do it. This feature will alert you if this happens.
Lane Keep Assist
If you do drift and don’t pay attention to the warning, your Jeep Cherokee will guide your vehicle back into your lane.
Rain-Sensing Windshield Wipers
Having complete visibility when driving is crucial, and your wipers can start working as soon as any moisture is detected on the windshield. They can also speed up or slow down automatically.
Rear Cross-Traffic Alert
With rear cross-traffic alert, you’ll always know if any cars are coming from either side behind you, so you can back up safely.
Forward Collision Warning
This feature monitors the road in front of you. If a potential collision is detected, you will get an alert.
Automatic Emergency Braking
If you don’t step on the brakes after receiving the alert, the car will apply them automatically. It can even bring the vehicle to a complete stop.
