September was a great month for the Chrysler Group – as a matter of fact, it was the best September sales since 2005. U.S. sales increased 19 percent by selling 169,890 units. Keep reading for more information on which vehicles played a big role in this successful September.
“Continued consumer demand for our new Chrysler 200 mid-size sedan, our Jeep models, and the RAM pickup truck helped Chrysler Group achieve a 19 percent sales increase in September and our 54th-consecutive month of year-over-year sales growth,” said Reid Bigland, Head of U.S. Sales. “Chrysler Group sales continue to demonstrate strength as we recorded our seventh month of double-digit growth this year.”
Of our Chrysler Group brands, Jeep did the best this month–they increased sales by 47 percent. Jeep vehicles like the Jeep Wrangler, Jeep Compass and Jeep Patriot logged best ever sales in the month of September. Each of these SUV vehicles are unique in their own right, each playing to a different consumer group.
The Jeep Wrangler is a SUV perfect for off-roading available in a two-door or four-door body style with three trim levels for each. The Jeep Compass is a small crossover SUV with three primary trims and two sub-trims. And last but not least the Jeep Patriot is a compact crossover SUV available in three trim levels.
