It’s official 2015 has come to a close. We cannot shut the book without first discussing the December sales figures. During the month, FCA US LLC sold a total of 217,527 units. Jeep® had another great month of sales. Overall they increased their sales by 42 percent selling 89,654 units during the month. This is the 27th consecutive month of year-over-year sales gains. The Jeep Compass increased its sales by 78 percent making it the largest percentage year-over-year increase of any Jeep vehicle as well as FCA US LLC vehicle. Five Jeep vehicles set records this month. The Jeep Cherokee, Jeep Compass and Jeep Renegade turned in their best monthly sales ever. The Jeep Grand Cherokee sales were up 22 percent making it the best December sales in 10 years. The Jeep Renegade also increased its sales by 22 percent and it had its best sales month since March. The Jeep Wrangler and Jeep Patriot each recorded their best December sales ever.
“FCA US finished 2015 strong with sales up 13 percent and our best December sales since we started business more than 90 years ago,” said Reid Bigland, Head of U.S. Sales. “For the second straight year, the company has topped 2 million in U.S. sales. FCA US sales have now grown annually for the past six years.”
