FCA US LLC is excited to announce their April 2015 sales numbers. A total of 189,027 units were sold which allowed us to celebrate the best April Sales since 2007. Keep reading for more information.
FCA US LLC saw a 6 percent increase in their overall sales when compared to April 2014. Chrysler brand celebrated a 26 percent increase in sales this month, which is the largest sales gain of any FCA US LLC brand during the month of April. This is also Chrysler brands best April sales since April 2013 and it is the 10th consecutive month in which they have had year-over-year sales gains.
The Chrysler 200 sales were up a whopping 348 percent in April selling 18,850 units during the month. This is the best ever sales for the month of April and by far the largest year-over-year percentage gain of any FCA US vehicle. The Chrysler 200 has had record sales for the past eight months! This vehicle was also named the “Car of the Year” by the Rocky Mountain Automotive Press. What an exciting month for Chrysler!
“We launched the spring selling season with nine vehicle sales records and a 6 percent year-over-year increase that extends our sales streak to 61-consecutive months of sales gains,” said Reid Bigland, Head of U.S. Sales. “Our all-new Jeep Renegade small SUV is off to an exceptional start with more than 4,200 units sold in its first full month in the market helping to propel our Jeep brand to its best monthly sales ever.”
