September was a great month for FCA US LLC. During the month they sold a total of 193,019 units. This is a 14 percent increase when compared to September 2014 when they sold 169,890 units. It was also the best September sales since 2000. Want to know more? Keep reading for more information.
Jeep® vehicle sales were up 40 percent, which was the largest sales gain of any FCA US LLC in September. This is the third best sales month ever and the 24th consecutive month of year-over-year sales gains. There were three Jeep vehicles that performed exceptionally well this month. The first was the Jeep Compass. This vehicle saw a 54 percent increase in sales, which was the largest year-over-year percentage gain of any Jeep vehicle. The Jeep Cherokee increased sales by 38 percent and celebrated the best monthly sales ever. And last but not least is the Jeep Wrangler. This vehicle increased sales by 26 percent and has its best September sales ever!
“On the back of a strong sales industry we were able to achieve our best September sales in 15 years and our 66th consecutive month of year-over-year sales growth,” said Reid Bigland, Head of U.S. Sales. “Last month’s sales strength was broad based with five FCA vehicles setting September sales records and two others posting their best monthly sales ever.”
