FCA US LLC is excited to announce their July Sales figures. Over the course of the month they sold a total of 178,027 units, which is a 6 percent increase when compared to July 2014 when they sold 167,667 units. This sales figure also makes it the best July sales since 2005. Keep reading for more information on how some of the sub-brands performed.
Jeep® brand had the largest sales increase, jumping 23 percent! This is the best July sales ever and the 22nd-consecutive month of year-over-year sales gains. This month four of the vehicles in the fleet set records. The Jeep Wrangler, Jeep Cherokee, Jeep Patriot and Jeep Compass each posted their best July sales ever. Of those four, the Jeep Patriot performed the best with a 22 percent sales increase. Beyond those four many other Jeep vehicles performed exceptionally in July. The 2015 Jeep Renegade sales were up 30 percent, the Jeep Grand Cherokee sales were up 5 percent and the Jeep Grand Cherokee celebrated its fifth year of being ranked highest in the AutoPacific’s Value Satisfaction Awards in the Mid-Size SUV segment.
“Last week FCA announced a 69 percent increase in second quarter profits and now we post our best July U.S. sales since 2005,” said Reid Bigland, Head of U.S. Sales. “With Jeep sales up 23 percent, we were also able to achieve our 64th-consecutive month of year-over-year sales increases.”
