At Jake Sweeney Chrysler Jeep® Dodge RAM, we are incredibly passionate about the car brands we sell at our Cincinnati, OH dealership.  So, it only makes sense that we were excited to hear about the unveiling of Jeep’s latest pickup truck at the 2018 LA Auto Show.

It’s been some time since Jeep had a pickup truck on the market. The last Jeep pickup was produced in 1992, that is until they unveiled a new pickup model at the 2018 LA Auto Show last month. Named the 2020 Jeep Gladiator, this spunky pickup truck takes inspiration from the latest Jeep Wrangler, and adds a five-foot truck bed. This new Jeep pickup will prove to be a fantastic option for Jeep drivers who need more cargo space but don’t want the family sized Jeep Cherokee.

The four-door Jeep Gladiator is expected to have a heavy hitting 3.6-liter Pentastar® V6 engine, giving drivers 285 horsepower and 260 lb-ft worth of torque to play with. Jeep also has plans to unveil a 3.0-liter EcoDiesel turbocharged V6 engine option as well. The 2020 Jeep Gladiator will be tow-capable, boasting enough power to haul 7,650 pounds of towed cargo. This towing capacity puts the 2020 Jeep Gladiator at a firm competition with other mid-sized pickups on the market. Like all Jeep brand vehicles, the 2020 Jeep Gladiator will come with their intuitive off-roading system, that Jeep is known for. While the 2020 Jeep Gladiator is still a long way out, our team is excited to see what this new Jeep pickup has to offer.

Until the 2020 Jeep Gladiator hits the market, visit us at Jake Sweeney Chrysler Jeep Dodge RAM to whet your Jeep appetite. Our wide selection of Jeep vehicles is bound to satisfy even the most die-hard Jeep drivers, and Jeep Gladiator fans can expect for this charming new rugged pickup to hit our showroom sometime soon.
