FCA US LLC recently announced their sales figures for the month of January. They sold a total of 155,037 units which is a seven percent increase when compared to January 2015 when they sold 145,007 units. This is the best January sales they’ve had in nine years. Keep reading for more information.
Dodge had the largest sales gain of any FCA US LLC brand during the month of January selling a total of 42,109 units. This is a 19 percent increase in sales! The brand also posted year-over-year sales gains and was the brand’s best January in three years! The Dodge Journey crossover sold 8,456 units, Dodge Challenger sold 5,085 units, and the Dodge Charger sold 9,146 units. Each of these vehicles set records in the month of January and had their best January sales ever. The Dodge Caravan sold 8,525 units and had the brands largest sales increase of 83 percent as well as had its best January sales since 2007. The Dodge Durango sold 6,079 units, increasing its sales by 70 percent and had its best January sales in over a decade.
“Mother Nature was no match for our Jeep brand last month as we recorded our best January Jeep sales ever,” said Reid Bigland, Head of U.S. Sales. “Overall, FCA US achieved its best January sales in nine years and our 70th-consecutive month of year-over-year sales increases.”
