There are scratches that are so shallow you may never even notice they are there, and these are called clear coat scratches. These scratches are so shallow that they may not even come into contact with the paint.
The scratches that definitely come into contact with the paint are aptly referred to as paint scratches. These scratches are going to be much harder to miss and slightly more nuanced to fix. Our service specialist will use the exact paint to match your car, obtained from our Chrysler parts department, to touch up the area that has been damaged.
Unfortunately, if the scratch goes deeper than the paint, the process becomes even more involved. A mold will be created to plug the hole made by the scratch. Once the exterior is once again level, then it can be painted to match the original paint job.
